This worried looking little guy is Rony.   He lives in a two room multi-use room house in an area of the Philippines called Legazpi.  Like Linosca or Abongile, his family has few of the comforts we enjoy.  They cook on a wood stove and Rony sleeps on the floor on a mat.   Their water source is a nearby stream and they have no electricity.   The roof of their wood hut is thatched but  they do have a wood floor and an out door toilet.  In Legazpi, even though his father works, the average family income is only $28 a month (American).  You can see how much the sponsorship could mean to Rony's family.   Children international is only around $15 a month or so and we send an additional $25 on Christmas, Birthday and Easter.   The "extra" gifts go to the child's family 100% and we usually receive a letter letting us know what they were able to buy with the money.
