Back to nature for our cement pond

As you can see by the lowered water level and the small jungle growing at the shallow end that our pool is now a pond instead.  After around 15 years here in this house

i could count the number of times i had been in the pool on my digits.  Yet it was a real big pain in the neck and the wallet to keep it up.  Chlorine cost more than booze

these days and it was costly to be running the filter pump as well.  Cleaning the filter was another job that used to shape up my day.   All in all, it was worth the effort while

the kids were small and at least somebody used to enjoy the pool, but now with all the kids grown and on their own it is not worth the work so i let it go to nature.
