Uma was my first assistant, when the job of translation manager got too big for one person i was able to talk Uma into taking on the job of Co-manager. I took care of all the technical duties and she took care of all the administrative ones, receiving volunteers, writing letters to prospective translators, etc..
I am embarrassed to have forgotten her last name, but this was several years ago and my memory is more like slab of swiss cheese, all full of holes. Uma was originally the Spanish team leader if what's left of my failing memory can be trusted.
I often wondered what happen to her, after she left, i never heard another word from Uma.
